For you vegetable gardeners
Before you plant your onions save up several days of coffee grounds and let them dry. When you plant, spread a layer of the coffee grounds on the bottom of each row of the onions. This will help prevent worms from getting to your onions.
My interest in tools, repairing, maintaining cars and all manner of items found around a typical midwest home started as a child helping my dad. Dad was a depression era adult and out of necessity had to learn how to fix things that were broken, make needed improvements and what tools to use and how to use them.
This knowledge has been passed on to me and over the years I have expanded it to include other areas such as lawn care, landscaping, wood working and refinishing, interior painting, wood deck and fence restoration and preservation, concrete cleaning and sealing.
